I had contacted Susan about a possible shoot, and she agreed to collaborate with one at the Middle Head fortifications in Mosman on a Saturday morning. She wanted a variety of styles including fitness and fashion in a variety of settings. The walls in the tunnels provided excellent texture for fitness shots, particularly the ones with the boxing gloves. Generally only 2 off camera flashes were used in this situation, there was no need for a rim or hair light.
The shots taken outside was a different kettle of fish. I attempted to use the sun as a rim light and only one off camera flash as a fill light.
In post processing I also did some severe crops to produce head shots that followed the "Rule of Thirds" when in landscape mode.
